Certiquality ISO 9001 logo

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015

The standard applies to all types of company, in any sector, and is based on a set of standards and guidelines developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which define the requirements for implementing a quality management system; these include a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management and continuous improvement. ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system focused on process effectiveness and promotes a risk-based approach, emphasising requirements, added value, performance, efficiency and continuous improvement through objective measurement, in order to achieve and increase customer satisfaction and ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.

GMP+ FSA logo

GMP+FSA

The internationally recognised certification scheme (Good Manufacturing Practices - Feed Safety Assurance) aims to support feed companies in their goal of supplying safe feed which, in turn, contributes to the production of safe food and safeguards the entire agri-food chain. The standard specifies the requirements that enable any company, however small, to set up a robust and reliable feed safety management system through the application of HACCP principles, product standards, traceability, monitoring and an early warning system. Through its voluntary GMP+FSA certification (Module 2020), SILA® ensures that its products and their ingredients are made with safe processes and meet legal requirements and the agreements made with the other players in the chain.

FAMI-QS logo

FAMI-QS

Like the voluntary GMP+FSA standard, FAMI-QS is a European Code of good practice for companies producing products for animal feed, aimed at managing processes and products in a way that ensures hygiene, safety and quality. The FAMI-QS Code of Practice is designed to set general requirements for good manufacturing practice (HACCP programme) and to be used by operators as a tool for developing their own specific procedures. SILA® is committed to following these continuous improvement guidelines in design, the management of production activities and risk identification, with the aim of maintaining the safety and quality of its products, minimising unsafe practices and the risk of hazardous ingredients entering the food chain.

RSPO

RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) is an international non-profit initiative that brings together stakeholders from different sectors of the palm oil industry (palm oil producers, traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks and investors, and environmental and social non-governmental organisations) to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil production. RSPO’s main objective is to promote the cultivation and use of sustainable palm oil through cooperation within the supply chain and open dialogue between stakeholders. The methods used to promote the production, sourcing and use of sustainable palm oil products include the development of an RSPO certification standard for production and a standard for the supply chain (SCCS). SILA® is committed to meeting the requirements for the control of RSPO-certified palm oil products within its supply chain by complying with the SCCS standard.
