ENVIRONMENTAL
RESPONSIBILITY

Innovating also means
reducing our impact.

For years SILA® has built sustainability into its industrial strategies, investing in self-generated energy, renewable sources and material recovery. A tangible commitment made up of efficient technologies, consumption control and responsible choices.

Renewable energy,
measurable efficiency

Environmental sustainability comes from balancing industrial growth with the protection of resources. It means reducing emissions, limiting waste and developing processes that can recover, recycle and reuse materials.

That is why SILA® has installed photovoltaic systems on the roofs of both its production plants, SILA 1 and SILA 2. A choice that increases energy independence, limits consumption and progressively reduces the environmental impact of production activities.

The systems use power optimisers that monitor the performance of each individual panel in real time. This technology limits losses caused by shading, dirt, drops in output or other faults, preventing a malfunctioning module from compromising the efficiency of the whole system.

Remote monitoring also makes it possible to quickly identify any issues and schedule timely maintenance, improving continuity, safety and energy performance.

Recycling, reuse and renewable energy thus become part of a single industrial model: more efficient, more responsible and focused on the future.

Less impact today. More future tomorrow.

SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY

People are the value
that makes SILA grow.

We build relationships based on trust, listening and transparency, protecting the rights of every employee and valuing their skills, experience and potential. Equal opportunities, inclusion and respect guide every stage of their career, from recruitment to ongoing training.

Safety, skills
and shared growth

SILA® guarantees safe, healthy working environments that respect personal dignity. Discrimination, harassment and undeclared, child or forced labour are not tolerated. Risk prevention is entrusted to a structured system, compliant with Italian Legislative Decree 81/08, involving the Health and Safety Manager (RSPP), the occupational physician, internal contacts and workers’ representatives.

Every employee is hired with a regular contract and supported through defined onboarding and training procedures. The annual Training Plan combines health and safety obligations with courses on quality, the environment, technical skills and operating procedures.

A tangible commitment to creating a workplace where everyone can contribute, grow and feel part of a shared project.

Growing together. Working better.
